Commercial Audio

Sound Design:

There's a sound for everything. And for those things that don't have sound...we make up something.

When the bank wanted to give away free heated ice scrapers....we made their Radio ad sound and feel like it was -20 degrees and blowing snow.

When the animated "Worldpages" cowboy standing on top of the world lassoed a distant planet and pulled until the 2 worlds collided, we actually created the sound...ok maybe not that exact sound....

And when Zipper mowers made some radio ad's. The dealer brought us one of their riding mowers and we recorded the sound it made while they where cutting my lawn...because any other mower just wouldn't have sounded the same... ( actually another mower would have probably sounded the same, but don't tell the folks at Zipper...we just thought it would be a great way to get someone to cut our grass....and pay us for it.)

Sound Design is where we get creative with the soundtrack or soundscape to your radio ad, TV ad, video, web or other media. We have an extensive library of sound effects, and we make up a lot of our own as well. Sound design often includes musical elements as well as the just the right voice-over actor to make the radio or TV sound come alive. Sound design for radio is what creates the "theatre of the mind". And for TV it is what makes the video come alive...and "look" good even with your eyes closed.

Please take a moment to watch and listen to our samples full of our sound design work.

When you hear how these spot's come alive, It may be hard for you to go back to having a radio DJ read a script over the first piece of stock music that sounded OK from the production library.
