Owner & producer/engineer, musician, Moses Kostamo, first got hooked on recording at age 16 after being invited to play keys on a session at a 16 track analog, basement studio in his hometown of Prince George, BC, Canada.

After graduating high school, Moses studied music at Friends University in Wichita, KS. Then he took a 2 year recording arts program at Columbia Academy of Radio, TV, and Recording Arts in Vancouver, BC. From there it was freelance engineering, taking a position as Senior Production Engineer at Cornerstone Studios in Wichita,KS to eventually opening his own studio with a handful of borrowed mics, ADATs and mismatched chairs.

Currently, Moko Productions is located on beautiful Vancouver Island, just south of Nanaimo, BC and has a fine selection of mics (Neuman, Shure, Sennheiser, Audio Technica, RODE...) mic preamps, mixing and mastering plugins, Mackie powered studio monitors. ProTools is the mixing and mastering tool of choice. Our chairs are still mismatched.

In the studio or live on location, you will find your sessions to be enjoyable, musical and productive.
